Dparth: Breathing Life Into The Digital India Vision
Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi’s vision for a Digital India took form on 1st July 2015. The objective was to ensure that the Government's services are made available to the citizens of India electronically by improved online infrastructure and by increasing Internet connectivity or by making the country digitally empowered in the field of technology. One of the campaign goals of Digital India is BharatNet. Driven by Bharat Broadband Network Limited, a telecom infrastructure provider, the campaign is set up for the establishment, management, and operation of the National Optical Fibre Network to provide a minimum of 100 Mbit/s broadband connectivity to all 250,000 Gram Panchayat in the country, covering nearly 625,000 villages, to improve telecommunication in India.Headquartered in Ghaziabad, Dparth has spent almost two years with various big four’s and was involved in the project pertaining to Digital India for conceptualization of BharatNet, evaluation of technical and budgetary options with various states i.e. Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Telangana and also with Department of Telecommunication (DoT). Few of the key perspectives for the implementation of such kind of projects is to connect villages and to create more Village Level Entrepreneurship (VLE’s). During the course of implementation of such projects, and via enriched experience gained from them, Dparth team realised that if the Prime Minister is promoting VLE’s, why not step in the shoe and explore the entrepreneurship realm while contributing to the country’s development.
The CEO & Director of Dparth, Rohit Srivastava and his wife, the Executive Director, Monika Jain, shared the vision of GoI’s Digital India. Having worked with the big 4’s, the couple had cumulated extensive experience to step forward, join hands with their colleagues and lay the foundation to Dparth Technologies (later known as Dpart Tech Advisory Private Limited). Rohit has done Masters of Business Administration with specialization in Operations Management having 8 years of rich experience in various multinational corporations like HCL, EY, PWC etc. He is a certified fibre to the home professional and FTTx -OSP Design Consultant from FTTH council America. And a certified Public Procurement, Contract Management and eProcurement professional by Governance Global Practice, The World Bank Group, Washington DC, USA. He has been
entered for the ‘Hall of Fame, 2019’ by the World Bank Group for successfully completing the certification with distinction.
Monika, on the other hand, has secured Masters of Business Administration having 8 years of vast experience with one of the Big Four, KPMG. She is an inspiring woman entrepreneur who organizes and manages an enterprise in a very seamless way, setting exemplary standards for entrepreneurs across the country. She is a certified ISO 27001|2013, ISO 31000|2009 Risk Management and PCI DSS V3.1 Implementation specialist.

Dparth offers its professional services right from the project conceptualization stage through planning stage, helping client tie-up with best partners and creating vendor ecosystem for smooth implementation. On Septment, 2020, the Prime Minister expressed a resolution to provide optical fiber connectivity to 45,945 villages in Bihar and called it “Ghar Tak Fiber”. While it is handled by CSC E-Governance Services India Limited, Dparth Tech Advisory Private Limited is the technical consultant involved in preparation of proposal, design of network architecture, cost estimation, setting timeline to complete the project within stipulated time, and strategizing for employment generation in the State etc.
